The steps between text + image and the steps taken to walk alongside a friend. My dear friend Alana Frances and I collaborated on this book, which collects essays and asemic writing work by both of us. We thought about the process of collaboration across distance, talking on the phone while walking together, and the parallels in our thinking, writing, and art work brought together in this project.
